ABOUT US
We are an experienced, relaxed, dog-loving family who have owned and loved dogs of all shapes and sizes all of our lives. We have ALWAYS had a four legged friend sharing our home and we cannot imagine a time when we won’t have a dog (or 2) living here as part of our pack.
We have always dreamed of setting up and running a luxury Boutique Dog Hotel here in North Norfolk. Dogs have always been a huge part of our family and we found care for them whilst
away from home varied and challenging. Commercial kennels are simply not an option for our own beloved dogs. Although they are functional, we felt our dogs lacked the interaction, love and
comfort they experience here at home.
Prior to House of Barks, I had a long and varied career in the service industry with a background in fashion retail, which included a 5am daily start, commuting into central London. I have 2 sons who have grown up in a house full of dogs. They love and adore having our dog guests stay with us. They are confident dog-loving boys who understand the care, attention, respect and love that each dog deserves.
In 2018, I decided to start this new chapter and to finally fulfil my dream of working with dogs full-time. I have NEVER looked back!
